The Bashkir Clay comes from the Republic of Bashkortostan in the eastern part of European Russia on the western edge of the Southern Urals and is mined near the city of Kumertau. No wonder the Bible says that God created the first man out of clay. The Bashkir Clay is known for its healing properties. It comprises a number of trace elements for the human body. The clay contains magnesium, manganese, silver, zinc, calcium, copper and other elements. It is located south of the city, near the village of Sundin. Many residents of Kumertau know it and enjoy the rich gifts of the Bashkir country. The clay is used for medical purposes and in cosmetics.
